The Richter Uzur Duo features Acoustic Guitar and Cello

The Richter Uzur Duo is a one-of-a-kind guitar and cello duo that plays a whimsical mix of rock, world, and classical music. Comprised of world-renowned musicians Viktor Uzur and Brad Richter, the Duo has composed and arranged the largest repertoire of guitar/cello duets in existence and has performed hundreds of concerts in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. In the United States the RUDuo is known for its regular appearances on NPR’s Performance Today as well as frequent national and international broadcasts on programs such as PBS’s WoodSongs and NPR’s Classical Guitar Alive. Their debut CD entitled "String Theory" was released in 2013.
Between original compositions and arrangements of classic favorites, the musicians chat with host Steven Kapp Perry about their backgrounds and passions and musical experiences.

Gifted Music School with Bill McGlaughlin

Eugene Watanabe is the founder of Salt Lake City's Gifted Music School, a non-profit children's music school committed to creating a new standard for music education in the US. With him are a number of the school's students here to perform, and they switch in and out of chairs during the performances -- sometimes between movements -- so that everyone has a chance to play!
Also here is Bill McGlaughlin, the Peabody Award-winning host of Saint Paul Sunday and Exploring Music on WFMT in Chicago.
